I remember the autumn day I was walking through a collectors field. The colors were brilliant. We walked around together to pick the right spot for a commission. I took many photos that day, barns, ponds, streams and naturally a lot of trees. I was captivated by this old tree and all the colors that seemed to swirl around it like bits of colored glass or jewels. I have created many paintings from her property all in brilliant colors.
